 Comedy begins at 8:30 pm. with Frank Murphy from Star 102.1 opening for Leanne Morgan

There’s a good chance that Frank Murphy is taking a nap as you read this. Sleeping in shifts allows Frank to stay up late enough to perform with the comedy improv troupe Einstein Simplified on Tuesday nights.  It’s no surprise that Frank is happiest when he is with his family.  Their patience has allowed him to pursue his lifelong dream of being on air.  Frank and his wife have two adult children. Their daughter lives in the Washington, DC area and their son attends college in St. Louis. Prior to moving to Tennessee, Frank worked at radio stations in Los Angeles and Washington, DC. He graduated from George Mason University, where he won the Senior of the Year award.

For the past ten years, Frank has been gradually working toward his goal of visiting all 50 states. He reached his “final four” in the summer of 2011. In addition to traveling, Frank enjoys swimming, pop culture and dessert.
