The Parenting Center, sponsored by the Junior League of Knoxville, is a project designed to teach child care skills and increase parenting knowledge through classes for families in the community, at no cost. This program is open to anyone expecting a child and/or with young children.
Classes are led by professionals with expertise in the areas of pediatrics, child development, obstetrics, child safety, and child care. Our program is designed to help parents strengthen their skills to be the best they can be for their children. Parents support each other by sharing ideas, thoughts, concerns
and experiences as they move into this very exciting and demanding time in life. Family members or support
persons may attend classes with an applicant.
