For over 90 years, the Junior League of Knoxville has contributed the greatest possible gift a charity can give a city—trained and caring volunteers on a mission to build a community through relationships with those in need. With over 500 members, the Junior League is an organization of women who care. These active volunteers focus their time and resources not only on fundraising, but also, most importantly, on reaching out to the needs of the victims of domestic violence in East Tennessee – with more than 8,500 hours of service given to the area each year.

The community services the Junior League provides are also broadly supported through dynamic partnerships with area businesses. In a very real sense, children laugh and explore new ideas, expectant mothers learn, breast cancer survivors get stronger, and Knoxville history stands taller because of its sponsors. The Junior League makes it possible for businesses to give a little while making a very big difference in the Knoxville community.

Every dollar that the Junior League raises provides direct support to Knoxville community projects and leadership development programs. Annual fundraisers and events like The Little Black Dress Initiative, Spring Gala and the Junior League cookbooks help make the Junior League mission a reality.

If you are interested in joining us in making a difference in the lives of children and families in the Knoxville community (and making new lifelong friends), we encourage you to review our membership information section to learn more about how to join the Junior League of Knoxville.
