Tamara has over twenty-five years of experience in the finance industry both as a Corporate Attorney and as a business executive. Whether it is her love of children or her passion for growing economic development opportunities, Tamara has dedicated her time and energies to making a positive difference in Knoxville and throughout East Tennessee, serving on Boards for both local and national non-profit organizations. Her love of the Junior League of Knoxville is shown in her fourteen years of service as an Active and as a Sustainer.
A native of Sarasota, Florida, Tamara grew up on Siesta Key until attending college at The Florida State University. After graduating from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, she moved to Knoxville along with her attorney husband, a native of East Tennessee and a graduate of The University of Tennessee Knoxville. Their daughter is a student at The University of Tennessee and an avid volunteer, starting her own non-profit focusing on early childhood literacy.
Despite the professional opportunities to move from Knoxville, Tamara has been determined to remain in her adopted hometown and to dedicate her time and talents to the Knoxville community.
