Little Black Dress Event – Flowers on the Water

Join JLK and Helen Ross McNabb Center at the Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8

In connection with National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Helen Ross McNabb Center and Junior League of Knoxville is hosting Flowers on the Water, to bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence in our community.

The event will include a Flowers on the Water ceremony where we will remember and honor individuals who have experiences or been impacted by domestic violence, along with a short program and inspiring story from a domestic violence survivor. Community organizations are invited to partner by sharing resources and information. Additionally, attendees will be able to support survivors by participating in several activities during the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring any of the items listed below to benefit clients we serve :

– New full-size hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.)

– New or “like new” shoes (Women and children, all sizes)

– New women’s underwear (all sizes)
